    yeah, vanessa was like that too until she hit around1000-1100 grams. she went off for about a month and a haf but is back to pounding rats weekly. how big is your male? he's just a little fellow right?

    He's growing like a weed. He was just over 600g at the end of April. Not sure what he's at now.

    I haven't had a problem feeding any of my Bp's they eat every week.I can't even remember a refusal.

    I agree with the majority....my BPs DO NOT go off feed regularly either. BUT there is always an exception to the rule. LOL, I just recently had a male pastel hold out for 6 weeks. Humidity, Temps, Hides are all on point. No stress though because I would weigh him every week and he did not lose any weight. It is amazing how an animal could " starve itself " for over a month and not lose a gram! He took a f/t rat on Saturday night last week. So I am in the clear for now. They are very durable lil guys. Not as sensitive as people put them off to be. (I have had boas ranging from 1' to 8' long over the years and I have to say that they are PIGS!!, eating anything and everything in their path, just a personal observation though :snake2: )

    I've only had Emily for a year - but she's never refused a meal - not even in shed.

    Mine has never gone off feed. She eats every Monday religously since I got her from Adam (8 Ball Pythons)
