Waste

Different snakes have different habits. The anacondas like to go in the water (poop soup) the kings like to go in a corner (or three corners if you let them) but they don't like to go in their hides, no. I have one boa that goes in his 'litter box'. It's his humid hide that was a kitty litter box. Always find his logs in there.. haha.

Mr Python, youre lucky. Many of my BPs go IN their hides. One time when I was wanting to hold Hemlock, my pretty girl, I lifted her hide and went to pick her up, and stuck my finger right in a huge fresh one...eeeewww!!!! ...could have sworn I heard her laughing at me.

When I had a humid hide Ruby would poo in that all the time. Now she just poos in her hide and curls up behind it glaring at me like "What did you let the dog in here for?" lol Blame it on the dog, thats an old trick.

Seems none of my BAlls or my burm just lay in thier poop. If the go in the hide they will be curled up under the other one. My burm is just alillte over 5ft so I still have two hides for him. Seems like they know not to lay in it.

Junior poos on thetop of her hide....she likes to sun herself there, and relaxes so much that she must get the urge or something...


Monty had a little silk plant in his cage, and he ALWAYS goes on the plant..the poo head..(hahahha no pun intended!):D

One of our BP's used to always go in her hide. Suddenly you'd see her just FLY from that hide to the other one and you knew she'd messed in there and stunk herself out LOL. Thank goodness she found a corner that works much better now.

The big BCI drops things that would impress a Great Dane! The odd thing, and we've discussed this in another thread actually, is that he seems to find his own smell offensive. He'll go into a stretched neck posture and shove his nose up to this lid as if trying to find less stinky air. As soon as I spy that (if the smell hasn't hit me yet) I know Rauri's dropped a big one. He never does this when he pees, just when he poops.

The really odd thing is Rauri farts....loudly! First time it happened I nearly had heart failure as I was alone in the house other than a sleeping child and Rauri's tank was right behind me as I sat at the computer. I heard what sounds pretty much like a grown man whose had beans for dinner behind me....ACKK...gave me a start till I realized that the big snake has a bit of a gas issue right before he "gives me a present" (oh but I'm easy to buy for apparently :) )

Didn't I take a picture of one of our large burm's poop? I could've swarn like a year ago....
Oh wasn't it requested from one of our regular's?
Don't we have a big snake poop fanatic on this here forum?

I need a t-shirt that says "I <3 SNAKE POOP"...well, I love my girls snakey-poop, hehe...

You love snake poop too Cass? If you get the shirt, can you order me one too? :P...Oh, and Jo, our BCI does that same thing....I never knew snakes farted (so loudly) till We got Bonnie...we were watchin' the Matrix the other night, and even with the surround sound goin', we had to pause the DVD...."did you hear that?!!" we both exclaimed...after listening another second or two, she rips another BIG watery one! LOL

I hate to be the one to ask...but can an owner of a ritic please post a pic, I have a hard time imagining how many kurics a retics poo would be
