That is true. I guess with rbeeding anything, you are going to have your ups and downs. My friend breeds horses, and just pumped $1000 into a filly that ended up dying anyway. Sometimes there's nothing you can do.

I still use my same incubator, just set the egg box up differently, just like cueball's pic above. I've seen designs of the aquarium heater in standing water etc., but have never heard anyone's result after using one.

Thanks everyone for your comments. Cue, I'm glad this method is working for you too this season. https://ball-pythons.net/forums/imag...happy01441.gif The only drawback I can see with it is that if some of the eggs are separated from the rest of the clutch, they are more prone to roll when the egg box is moved. We'll probably use it again this season (2 more clutches on the way still https://ball-pythons.net/forums/imag...es/biggrin.gif ), and I'll let you guys know if I run into any problems.

I was worried about this aswell. In advance I cut a ton of random shaped bits of the egg crate that I planned to superglue to the base egg crate to form loose supports. All four of my eggs where stuck together with a flat base so I have a pile of unused bits

    Here's to success Evan :carouse:
