    Aw! They are definately bonding quickly. That dog will follow that kid anywhere, I would bet :)

    I'm hoping as Gunnar matures that she'll be very bonded to our family, especially the kids but also show a nice protective instinct to her "pack". Mike works almost steady evenings now and being in the city it would be nice to know that Gunnar is around the house at night. I've heard Boxers are good that way and I know the Labrador part of her will encourage close bonding with humans. Anything I've read on Boxers seems to indicate they are naturally protective of those they bond with and yet considered very good and safe around kids.
