If they stayed smaller I would have a lot of them. I want to deal with some of the BCC but In omaha nebraska the city law says no snakes over 8'

You do realize that's it's entirely possible for a female BCI such as yours to get over 8 feet? Do you have a plan in place should this occur and you live in a community where she'd then be considered illegal?

They are lovely looking snakes but I agree with Judy that hand feeding a BCI is a poor idea. They have an incredible strike range and a hunting BCI of any decent size is a force to be reckoned with. They aren't mean natured but you need to respect the pure power of them. Please consider safe feeding techniques with your bigger snakes as word of a serious bite can get around your community and the next thing you know people think these snakes are "dangerous".

I wouldn't consider myself anything less than responisible. I can get a permit when she gets that big. Being only 15 now the chances of a premit are slim to none. Even with my knowledge, exprerience, and references. I guess I should stop hand feeding. I'll get more pics of her rabbit next weekend

"oh sure sir you can come measure him...he hasn't ate yet this week, but go ahead he should be fine."
"I can assure you, he only looks 10 feet, he really is only 8."

    lmao, rofl, lol

    I'd love to see that!
