Based on her size and shape, I'd say she is an early May hatch and can't have been in the states for more than a couple of weeks going from importer to distributer to pet store.

Jo, she is smaller than Dax, so she is younger than 8 months, but bigger than the 3 week old baby I held at the pet store. Sorry, I know that does not help much. She is adorable!!! Are you going to bred this one too? Was Mike suprised?

Thanks Adam, that's what I figured (sure she's a cb Mr. pet store man and I just fell off the boat myself last week LOL). She's in full quarantine and will get the usual fecal, etc. before she's allowed near the new BP room.

Thanks everyone for the estimates on age. We'll just go with May 1st as an estimated hatch date then for our records and call it good. Oh and she has a name as of today, Mike picked it....

Muirne....pronounced mer-nu or mer-na....celtic of course....in the legends she was Finn McCool's mother....her name means "high spirited" which suits this little one to a T.
