How wonderful that you are moving to Ohio and wanting to be a vet specializing in herps. Don't worry about your spelling. You spell and I bet speak english a heck of a lot better than most of us speak/write in your native tongue. I'm always impressed at how well many other countries master English when most Americans/Canadians can't manage in any second language at all.

Tony2Dogs, if the Judy the Admin didn't make it clear enough, I will. Don't take that tone or attitude with any of our members and most especially not with our international members. We are pleased to welcome many people from many nations all with the common interest and love of herps. We do not welcome those that treat others with open disrespect and contempt.....hope that is quite clear enough!

My family lives in Toledo Basuca which isn't all that far from Columbus so hopefully we'll get to meet you someday. C-bus as the locals call it has a herp show once a month which I know Lynne (ladywhipple) goes to regularily so she can fill you in on that and all the other things about that city and the university you might want to know.

Congrats again on your impending move! :)

Ah, memories of Ohio. I used to party pretty hard down there; my cousins lived (and my aunt/uncle still live) near Salem. It was real "back country" when I was there about ten years ago; we had a lot of fun out at their old farmhouse. I could go on and on reminiscing (sp?) :) It is the first place I ever got drunk! :shudders at the thought of peach schnapps, to this day: We were just kids having fun in those days, back before things got too serious.
It didn't seem like that bad a place; climate is a bit better than it is up here in NY (usually less snow) and summers are nice and hot. My grandma still lives down there too.

Wow. Two dogs, but no tact. BTW, freedom of speech might apply to this country, but not to a private forum. :banned1:

If you had read our Terms of Service like you were asked to when you joined, you would notice that in our rules (as in most forums) we do not tolerate any derogatory comments towards any of our members.

Umm no...The government can't limit freedom of speech, however, the owners of an Internet forum (and in this case, our fine community) can certainly do so when it conflicts with the TOS of the site. So play nice or feel free to exit, stage left.
