what are some symptoms? my snake opens her mouth sometimes..kinda looks like she's stretching it out or something.. could that mean she has an RI??

she actually just did it like 15 minutes ago..it doesnt happen often.. but it still happens. i think from the 3 weeks i've had her.. i've seen her do it like 2 or 3 times.

There's a difference between open mouth breathing and just a quick yawn. If you notice any whistling while they breathe or any bubbles in their mouth get yourself to a vet asap, as those are positive indicator of a respiratory infection. Mouth rot is indicated by a cottage cheese like substance in the mouth.

All of mine will do the quick yawn; that's nothing bad. If you hear any wheezy, hissy breathing (like hissing without being provoked) then you should be off to the vet.
