Thanks all! I finally got home. My sister's wedding went well but all else was a disaster. I spent the full day of her wedding hooked up to an IV and getting tons of meds for some unknown disorder (dehydration, something parasitic, sunburn??). I was able to rally and make it to the wedding and reception and it was beautiful. Felt great and thought I was fine until I woke up this morning (my day to come home and my birthday) to a couple hours of puking. Good stuff! Anyway...I am home and hopefully I will recover soon from whatever is wrong with me. I feel perfectly fine now except I have (and this is not funny) terrible hiccups, most likely from the Flagyl they have me on (which I am now discontinuing). Moral of the story, even when you don't drink the water in a third world country, other things can make you sick. We had 4 or 5 people in our group get the same sort of sickness. Damn it feels good to share my misery with the bpnetters. Its good to be back in the US! Missed you all!

Awwww Jamie! So sorry to hear you've been sick! What a waste of a trip to the Carribean! :( Well...you can make up for it in Florida in a couple months. :P Feel better soon, my friend!

Thanks Judy! Well it wasn't a total waste. The wedding was amazing and my sister looked gorgeous. Illl try to post some pics once they are all together. We probably have about 1000 pictures from the wedding. I also gained a wonderful new extended family.

What a bummer being sick! At least you were ok for the wedding. lol
