    heehee i hear ya... actually they aren't my favorite bird... not really all that fond of them myself... but the birds are my hubby's domain. ;) i just listen to their songs :)

    Green Cheek Conures are wonderful birds! I'm not fond of Parrotlets myself...look too similar to parakeets. If I ever get a bird it would be a GCC, they are "less" noisy than the other conures, and often deemed great apartment birds. Plus, you get a huge parrot personality in a little package, but bigger than those parrotlets. :)

    I have a local breeder who has GCC currently handfeeding, its quite tempting!

    I generally prefer softbills to parrots. I love finches too. But if I were to have a pet bird.. one with a nice personality, it'd probably be a keel-billed toucan.. or an indian hill mynah.
