Ok, im not sure where you live since it doesnt say but make sure the temps dont get to high. I had to put ALL of my breeders to sleep because summer in arizona wont go to well with them. But I figured if they could live in the snow in Iowa in the winter that there fine in the winter here in AZ. I agree with everyone saying they smell. After 2 days of having my male and female together, my room was horrible that day when I got home.

I agree they smell alot. I did same..pet shops around here..well really good ones are 30 min drive so i bought a couple kept them in a 10 gl fish aquarium at first they dint smell but few days later woah they stinked. All i do to try to reduce it as much as possible is add vanilla to their water and change the bedding every 5 days. And another thing those couple mice i got to feed to my bp eventually turned into breeders after i saw them doing the wild thang. I got the idea to feed the babies and keep the adults to produce more feeders.

    I find these 2 things
Males smell worse than the females
The more rodents per cage, the faster it will start to smell

I just mix a little bit of baking soda in the bedding every few days to keep the smell down in between cleanings.

Baking Soda? Like a table spoon? how much? I think ill try that. Thye have no effects on the mice whne they are fed to snakes?
