I use Photoshop Elements and Fireworks. It depends on what I am working on ;)

I've decided to keep the site as simple as possible for now, keep is easy to use and chock full of simple/natural photos.

No special effects, No dancing babies across the screen, No snakes flying across the screen, No flashy page transitions and No fixed photos under special lighting! Just snakes, snakes and more snakes!

Hopefully, I'll transfer most of the pics from my photo gallery and add some new ones to have the website ready, hosted and running by June 1st.

ssscales, Hopefully I can help you out here :)

Photoshop 6 is an old version, I learned on that version about 6 or so years ago. One of the things about Photoshop CS is a filter called "Extract". You can basically paint around what you want and it takes out the rest of the image. Very simple to do.

Photoshop CS or CS2 is well worth the investment. I doubt you're a student, but you can get a student edition (AcademicSuperstore.com) at a very cheap price...but you cannot make money using it. student learning only. If you do decide to buy the whole version of Photoshop, trust me, it's worth it!

If you need any help with your pictures or your web site, Just e-mail me at NathanLedet@yahoo.com (or IM me on Yahoo Messanger) and i'll help you out as best I can!

edit: one more thing ssscales...What part of Florida are you in? I'm in Orlando, in case you didn't see under my avatar...
