Thank you, thank you! Wow what a welcome!! This site seems like like one of the nicest!
Havent seen to much bickering going on in posts which is why i was pointed in this direction by jglass38. We got involved in a post from, hell-o all!!
Well Im not sure what standard package my Ball has, going to have him sexed eventually. Sometimes he is refered to as a guy and sometimes a girl and sometimes I just use his name, Davu! Meaning "The begining". It is some sort of african but i have no idea what tribe or from what part of the country. He is my first and i doubt my only. He wieghs right close to 500g and is 30 inches long. As far as age not to sure on that either! From what i was told about 6 months but i think he is a lil older maybe then 6 months. 6-9 sounds good as one of the other members had said in my post about age.
I kind of think of him as a rescue. Some 16 year old kid had him, lost interest and the dad wanted to get rid of him so he sold Davu and everything else for 50 bucks. I really wanted to get one from a breeder but could not pass up on the price. Temps were WAY to hot when i got him, practically no humidity and he only had one hide. Had a dented eye cap when i picked him up and a lil scar between his nostrals. Im guessing the scar was from a feeding acident as he was being feed live mice or maybe he tried to escape or something im not real sure. Other then that he was well feed, active, and never once has he balled himself up or showed any type of aggression! :) Awesome snake! Right after i got him home, humidity was raised, eye looked better within 30 minutes, He now has 2 hides, temps have been regulated and he is living a much better life! :)
Thanks again all and sorry for the long post!!

Welcome to the BPNet family, glad Jamie steered you our way! Davu is a great name for a lovely (or handsome whichever is more appropriate) little Royal. Hope you enjoy your time on the forum and please feel free to just jump right on in with pics, questions, comments, concerns, whatever strikes your fancy.

Hahaha...Well in that case the girl is kind of a twit. She has multiple hatchlings (that haven't eaten yet), kept together in a glass tank on crushed walnut bedding with improper temps and wonders why they won't eat. That and the fact that she only bought the hatchlings as a "test" to see if she would be ready when her gravid female lays.

Bahah..Just typing that I felt brain cells dying off.

Glad you made it over here, where for the most part we are twit free

Yea i was definitly disturbed by her aswell! Guess thats the kinda crap we all have to put up with from time to time!! Im just really sick of all the young know it all who ask for advice and then tell you that your the one that is wrong!! Nothing against young people just the ones that are all argumentative and cant take it when there called out!! Errrr!!
