First Tag

Ooo its in that fleshy part of the arm thats annoyingly painful.I got bit there by a friends parrot.

Junior has only bit someone once. Before I got her, she was in the care of her past owners friend. He apparently did something to her, because she struck at him and tagged him..that is how I ended up with her.

Good luck with that, it looks super-bruised.

It was my 5' RTB female that tagged me. It looks a lot worse than it feels.

Owie! I know Neptune's gonna nail me one of these days. Sometimes I wonder if I should just let him and get it over with so I can join the tagged club and know it's not all that bad, lol. :ohmygod:

Holy wow Lars, when Rauri whose easily 6 feet tagged Mike is was barely anything. You really must have ticked her off! LOL

I hate being bitten - I hate the thought of being bitten (read "wuss") - never have been yet by either of our snakes but I'm sure it's gonna happen sometime.

So (if anyone knows this) how does a snake bite (like boa, ball) hurt in comparison to a hormonal amazon parrot bite?

I used to have a Cockatoo years ago Raz. Way worse bites! Parrots beaks hurt alot!

If I had to choose between sticking my fingers into the cage of a small, aggressive snake...or an aggressive bird (of any size!)....I would choose to risk the snake bite ANY day.

yeah, i hear some of the larger birds can take a digit off...

worst bite i ever got was by my old cat. don't laugh, he got injured somehow (vet said maybe picked up by a great horned owl!) and came home with a broken leg and some bad cuts. when i tried to pick him up he gave me a bite on my thumb that was so deep you can see the scars to this day.

Haha. My worst tag was from a cat too. My male silver grey tabby and another cat were fighting, and me being me, I decided, like an idiot, to try and break them up. Yeah. I had these deep, deep puncture wounds from his longest canines. Hurt like a :cens0r:. Anyhoo...yeah. I bled for about an hour and the punctures started to heal. He decided to sleep with me with that night.
