It's certainly easy to understand how a beginner can be confused. First off, several zoos and pet stores house their animals in this manner. Second, there are always some locals that swear by keeping them together. :rolleyes: I know it can be tiring answering the same questions over and over, but I think it important to answer this question as calmly and intellectually as possible. Besides many of us have made husbandry mistakes, and were newbies at some point. ;)

I'm glad to hear you're separating them! They'll both be happier (as much as a snake can be anyway lol) and healthier because of it.
