    What are you doing to raise the humidity? Long periods of low humidity can cause respitory distress- I'd fix your humidity issue to rule that out before you drop wads of cash at the vet.

    You might need to place a couple of gladware containers filled with damp moss. Are you still running your heat in the house? You've got an AP cage, I never had problems with it holding humidity....

    i built the DIU humidifier already sitll testing that but i like that tupperware idea. its a good one! should i like poke holes in the lid or just leave it open or what?


    and thanks for the advise. i'll try to perfect the habitat before vet visit.
    BTW can u trust the ARAD list. like is it like if ur on the list ur good or that means that once upon a time u knew somebody who got u on the list?

    Just an open container is fine....the only real purpose of the container is to keep the moss from making a mess as it dries out.

    i have a t10 for my ball.... useing cypres mulch from sears the humidity is allways 50% -60% and around 65% 70% just after i change it. which is why i installed 3 large top vents (closeable) that allow me to control the humidity during that time.

    Hey I'm new to this forum but I have a 5 yr old reg bp and she ate live rats for 2 years but now she refuses to eat them. She has no problem eating 5 mice now. If you have a bp, I'm guessing he or she is just as picky as mine.
