    If you're asking what SOME people CALL a marker.... Then it simply is an irregular scale pigment in one region of the snake's body. Some people call those snakes "ringers"... and some breeders actually try to sell said "ringers" for more money.

    If you ask around, and search this forum... you'll most likely find that there is no proof of genetic markers existing or the basis for which these breeders can justify selling snakes with these "markers" for higher prices.

    IMO if there was a consistant "marker" for hets (talking about recessives), then it wouldnt be a recessive, it would be a co-dominant.

    At least that makes sense to me.
