Someday I want to get an acreage just outside a large town. This living in a small town just plain sucks!! LOL!!

Welcome to civilization and being much closer to your daughter! I hope the unpacking and settling in goes well. =)

You're gonna love DSL, once we switched over we wondered how we ever functioned on dial-up. ;)

i live in a wierd place.

its like WAY suburbia (the 5 towns on Long Island) but like at the same time theres areas 2 minutes apart that are like almost hi city life and others that are total hick. i mean theres a place not far from me (and no offence to anyone who may/will/used to live )there but its actually called Hicksville. that was a word i used to use to describe remote stick towns that i drove thru on my way to atlanta (from toronto now THATS an awesome roadtrip!!) but i cant say it anymore cause my schema for that word has changed from sticks to burbs.

sorry... i dont know where that all came from

Glad your move went so well, Jo.

I'll second the DSL part... once you get it... you'll never know how you functioned without it.. and you'll refuse to go back! You'll also find yourself looking for all of those pesky "DU WARNING" threads and click on them almost exclusively to start with. :)

Good luck in your new city!

Rock on! I laugh at Dial-Up warnings!
