I've noticed Cleo's skin feeling "loose" after she sheds - but I guessed it's the snakes way of allowing for MORE MOUSEY! Gotta have room to grow...

Your snake is quite a little cutie. =)

Looks to be in good shape. He could easy eat a large adult mouse also.
I was feeding mice with mine at about 18" and he ate them like no tomorrow.

Whenever getting a new pet a vet check is always they way to go.
Better to be safe than sorry. :)

Feeding pinky and fuzzy mice is like you eating bubble gum for dinner. Hatchling bps can woof down an adult sized mouse with no problem. Your baby bp looks good, just make sure he gets an appropriately sized meal from now on ;)

Just a quick update I weighed and measured him yesterday and he has grown an inch and put on 50 grams in three weeks he is now 23" long and 206 grams. I did start feeding him an adult mice every five days. I am sure he would eat every day if I let him.

He looks the same size as my bp, and mine eats the biggest adult mouse I can get or a baby rat the same size (they don't always have the baby rats) every week.
