In my city it's illegal to back out of your driveway - I don't think it's been enforced since the late 1800's though.

I came to a realization early in life.
Someone has done something, that warranted that law being made.

In the summer in Phoenix that law makes perfect sense to me!

Funny you should say that Lars, we were sitting around with the kids laughing over these silly laws when I suddenly occurred to us that they had to make a law at some point to regulate an action...who in the heck tied their dang giraffe to a telephone pole and ruined it for the rest of us! :mad:
I love the one about it not being "assault" if the other person used "fighting words" at you! OMG how funny! Only in the south could the term "fighting words" be a legal term used in the drafting of a law! Why do I have visions of the following statment in a court of law...."well Judge I didn't wanna beat up on the feller but he used fightin words on me! he said things about the wife and my best huntin dawg and dang it - I love that dawg!!!":rofl:
