Re: Whats the most annoying thing that happens at your job?
Let's see...I have to be at work at 3:30am Tuesday thru Saturday. Work outside with planes (offloading and onloading them) in the middle of winter, snowstorms, rainstorms, thunderstorms, ice storms, etc. Everyone is miserable. Oh, did I mention that I am in charge of all these things AND the miserable people who don't want to be there. It can suck really bad at times, but all in all...I like it. Next step...Management, why not?

Geeez, after reading a few of these I don't have any room to complaint. I'll continue to deal with the little bugs and enjoy mine.

Oh, poor, poor baby! Why don't you join me on the 6-4 shift? That's to call my Malaysian vendors before they go home. But I do like beating the rush hour and getting home at a decent hour.

Pet Peeves - one of my vendors calling incessantly - do you have anything for me? I talked to Darin and he said he had some cash drawers to send to me, have you gotten the request yet? Do you have anything? I'll be by to drop off repaired product, anything for me? TONY!!!!! If I have anything, I will let you know!

Being micro-managed by someone who isn't even my boss - I feel like saying "you know what? If you can do it better, knock yourself out!"

Calls at 9 pm from this same person to micro-manage me some more (Is the Malaysian vendor going to do the pick up today? how do you know? Are you sure? Do they know where they're going? Can you login remotely and send me the e-mails where you told them to do so, because I don't feel like looking for it, even though you copied me on it).

    Nothing major! ;)

My parents concider school my "main" job. So I would have to say my 3rd hour L.A. teacher. She SUCKS. everyday she piles homework up on our desk not realizing we have 6 other classes that we have homework in. And then she writes us up for the stupidest things. I got a all day "on campus reassiegment" for saying it was stupid.
Then since I vol. for the Phx Fire Dept for about 72 hours a month, id have to say the "man down" calls. You show up and its a bum sleeping on his side up against a wall in a very unbussy area. Just another good citizen trying to help. Well there to much of them. And then the false alarm fire calls. They tie up 3 engines, 1 ladder, 2 cheifs, and an ambo for a grill going in the back of the man next doors house. Seriously, the waking up at 2 in the morning for nothing gets everyone mad. Then the caller has to dill with us.

Shelby I so feel your pain! Not only do I get pooped on peed on anal sacked etc., That particular dog has a nasty owner who doesn't like the total I give them and nothing is ever good enough.

I actually like my job alot, it's just those few people who irk me. The rest of the clients and animals make my job worth while. In all honesty, I don't mind too much about getting pooped on,peed on, or even anal sacked.

It's when all that happens after working an 11 hour day, having that nasty client in front of me while taking that phone call and getting the phone slammed in my ear that I mind!

Annoying? Hmm....well, I'm a forensic investigator and while I don't have a lot of annoyances with my job I've seen some pretty disturbing things. There's some really creepy stuff going on out there....:confuse:

Very cool job! I have a very close friend who used to be on the Dekalb County (metro Atlanta) Homicide Division, then went to the Medical Examiner's office to be a forensic investigator. Let me tell you - his sense of humor is one of kind! You sort of feel bad laughing at some of his "war" stories, but you just can't help yourself. I imagine you have to - in order to deal with what you see every day.

That's grounds for immediate termination at my job. If you don't have the courtesy to call in, we don't have to have the courtesy to keep you employed. There's just no excuse for it unless you are incapacitated in some way.
