Thanks dude! I am just wondering what is behind what looks like fear of a food item that they used to love. Its not like they just act disinterested, but they quickly head in the opposite direction.

How about the crumpled up newspaper trick? This, coupled with a live rat may yield you some results.

I feel your pain Jamie. This is week 4 and still he runs at the site of prey...:O. I know my temps got bumped a bit in the wrong direction when I had to move them into the rack, convincing myself this is the reason for the off fed behavior. Though the others respond in what seems like 1/2 a second... FRUSTRATING, but such is the life of the scaled ones.

Well after getting me all happy by feeding Thursday before last, Saoirse turned her nose up at a lovely juicy live little rat this past Thursday! I coulda cried...dang snake :( Not only that but Rionach and Kyna decided that eating was optional last Thursday too! blech

Of course Mr. Mal immediately snarfed down his two rat pups and I believe was offering to help the ladies with theirs when we closed his lid back up LOL. I swear Malachi knows that males breed at 800 grams and he's valiantly striving to get there as fast as possible ;)

Oh well, there's always this Thursday.....:sigh2:
