    I'm sure this will help too. Ask her to check every "cavity" in the room thoroughly and then seal it up with tape so the snake cannot get inside them. Not much, but I'm sure every little bit helps.

    April I would suggest your friend find one room she can completely search, confirm it is snake free then put the cats, their food and water and their kitty litter pan in that room for the next week. It's going to probably tick the cats off a bit but it won't seriously harm them and they can seriously harm that wandering baby snake.

    The problem is.. she has a tiny, tiny house. There isn't a room that can be closed off except for the T room.

    Ironically, my cornsnake just escaped last night. Here is a website page from an earlier post I've been reading that helped give me some ideas. I'm taking a 1/2 day at work so I can go home and search.
