    not to mention that most frogs are toxic... definitely not a good idea to be feeding frogs to a snake.

    I'd worry about parasites too.

    Rodents are cheap, easy to get and oh so nutritious. BPs were made to eat small furry things, not toxic slimy things.

    Also, be careful that you are only trying out frogs and not toads. There are glands right behind toads ears that are down right deadly to most all snakes. They are having a huge issue with this right now in Australia because the Toad has run rampant and is killing all the native snakes that try to eat it. Basically, the toad gets killed by the snake but the snake is killed once those glands on the toads get in it's mouth.


    I agree with everyone else... Why would you want to "try" something?

    I've seen a garter snake eat a toad, it was a wild snake that lived under the back steps of my house for many years, but shortly after it regurged the toad, and the little thing hopped away! :O
