    she should be pretty close in size to him before you put them together. most of my males are actually just a slight bit smaller than my females since females tend to be larger. he must be a chunker. :) do you have a gram scale?

    Grrr, I dont have a scale, unfortunately, it is still a NEED I must get....

    is it safe to get a pic of them close to eachother for size reference?

    yeah it should be ok to photograph them side by side. they should be too interested in/nervous about their surroundings and being out to do anything. most of the time the male doesn't jump the female right away, but it might be a good idea to have someone else their to supervise while you snap a few pics. :)

    Cool! Soon as Bri gets home from running to the pet shop for me, I will get him to help me, and post them for your opinion... in all honesty, I would much rather put her and Casanova together the more I think about it.


    OMG.. I am so hooked on these little buggers.... they are so awesome.... my little "royal cresties" .. as Bri calls them!
