Re: free to good home :(
I thought that I had....a friend of mine agreed to be a foster parent for my BP while I finish my year of teaching and coaching. I am not going to work over the summer (I was going to, but changed my mind) and have considerably lightened my workload for next year. As of now, I am teaching 8-10 hours a day and coaching 5-6 hours a day. Not to mention commitees and teams that I am on as a specialist at the school I work for. I bit off more than I could chew this year, but will resolve the problem next year. My friend will have the snake until the end of May, then my schedule will allow me to take him back again. Thank you for your concern.

Just caught up on this thread. I don't think you are irresponsible to make a clear, well thought out decision for the snake. You could have just as easily gotten so busy it sat in the corner in it's tub ignored or getting bare basics. You've made another arrangement for your snake's best interests and from what I can see, a need to make sure your snake is still getting the best it can get. I personally see this as a win-win situation and a good decision.
