My "shop" is a commercial building not too far away from my house. We do keep ball pythons at home ... almost every time we go to the shop my 4 year old son has a new "favorite" that he wants to bring home ... I let him keep a couple in his room and we rotate them .. if one comes home, one has to go back.

When you own your own business you actually end up spending most of your life working ... so I'm really at my "shop" way more than I'm at home ... and after being at my shop and taking care of a couple of hundred animals when I do finally make it home the last thing I want to do is clean, water, or feed a snake ... so if it wasn't for my sons "pets" I probably wouldn't keep any of them at my house. :D

I really like that post Adam, its truly a sensible and straightforward post with great advice. I'm currently in the process of writing my business plan (which may I say can be a pain in the rear.), mostly for myself because I want to start up self funded as an ecommerce site, but still having the option of pitching to the SBA for a loan if it ever takes off.

Ahhh...just my dream, hopefully with some hardwork, time, money and patience it will pay off. :)
