Re: Driving with Python Across Country, questions about housing
Well, Johar was not flying in the US. I don't know what sorts of restrictions Asian airlines might have, but I'm quite sure they differ a lot from ours.
Given the heavy screening the airlines do, I would definitely NOT try to sneak a snake onto an airplane!! Definitely your best bet, if you have to fly, is to find a trustworthy and qualified person to ship it for you.
Re: Driving with Python Across Country, questions about housing
Six months ago i moved from NH to Tx w/1 ball 3 corns 1 cat 1 bird 1 wife 3 kids 2 grandparents. I had a ten gallon i had put him in w/a water dish and hide. He did great. Luckily the kids were in the other car. If its in the car w/you the temp should be ok. You could put hand warmers on the bottom under the hide. I would run the tank in the motel room at night if you stop.
Re: Driving with Python Across Country, questions about housing
Johar's post got me thinking. Delta ships live animals (Delta Dash). Is there anyone you could leave Zeke with while you made the move, and them have him shipped down?
Re: Driving with Python Across Country, questions about housing
Thanks for everyone's help,
thats a good idea about Delta Dash I just want to have him with me, I don't think I can trust anyone else (talk about a protective mama).
I think we'll fare just fine w/ the handwarmers and such...he's a trooper..
Thank you everyone!
