so basically what you are saying is that bearded dragons should not eat anything but silkworms??? What diet would you feed bearded dragons under 6 months old?

How do MOLTED mealworms pose an impaction risk?

Sorry...just trying to get some info ;)

Silkworms are only the best feeder not the only. Supers are good for 6 months or more. certain roaches are great because you can controll and create your own coloneys easily and it prevents parasites from being intoduced when you have them in your own controlled envirement, lobster roaches are great for this and so are false death heads plus you can controll the size of the ones you feed them to adjust with age Horned or tobacco worms are good too but much to big for young beardies. And as for beardies under 6 months the crix your feeding are fine now that i know they are supplemented with calcium and you are also feeding greens vitamin pellets. Most breeders and owners from what ive seen tend to feed them silk worms/crickets/roaches/greens.
Molted mealworms do not pose a impaction risk, i never said that, in my orginal post i did not know you fed them molted only and thats why I pointed out impaction risk. But in my recent post I did say they pose a nutrion risk from being high in fat and low in protein. as the charts indicate.
