    I have a few of those thermometers myself...work great and they were all bought from walmart.....watch out at pet stores, they like to sell common things that are just labeled FOR REPTILES and jack up the price 50%...like reptile moss, substrate, and cage decor...etc.

    You may not want to wait that long if it is more than a day or two...those round gauge type are very VERY inaccurite...you dont realize just how much so until you get a digital one and see what it reads. I have a gauge one (round type) that is in my geckos cage cause I have yet to remove it from the previous owner, it is so off, says it is 55% (humidity), yet the digital told me it was actually 40% when I put it in. The temp gauges are just as bad.
