I feel really bad for you and your beardy. I'm not into beardies really, but I know I'd be pretty upset in your position. Best of luck.

I took this as a lesson to find the nearest on-call herp vet before I need one. Fortunately in my case he's only 20 minutes away.

Best of luck to you and your dragon.

I gave Draco a 20 min warm bath again last night (0300), rubbed her belly and let her drink a lot of water. I tried feeding her, but she wouldn't take anything. She did regurge clear fluid after she drank all the water. I also left her light on all night so her rock would be warm on her belly. She is back to her usual self this morning. I still can't figure what would have made her sick, but she is doing good this morning. Thanks for all the advice last night. I think tomorrow I am going to start trying to find a local vet who knows what a lizard is at least.

Oh I'm so glad to read that your beardie is doing better today Lars and yes Spencer it's a good lesson for all of us to have that vet's number handy just in case. You just never know when an animal is going to have a health crisis and it seems some of these lovely creatures don't give us much indication before things go bad fast.

I know if we ever move I'm surely going to miss the excellent vet clinic we use.
