Are trades the thing to do with BP morphs? Is this common practice among breeders? I know it happens with Boas here and there, but it seems some BP collections were established on trades.

Re: Curious??
I've seen several requests for trades posted and believe its up to the individual to be ok with this. I (at the moment) have nothing to trade for so they don't appeal to me, but I know this is common place for many BP breeders. An entry point to facilitate diversifying one's current collection and establishing good business relations. Talk about getting your name out there LOL...:bounce:
These are all very good points and just last night the BOSS (wife) and I were discussing the exact same thing. My wife has this "artsy-fartsy" nack about her and started throwing at me all these ressecive - co dom possibilities. I explained to her that its all upto the genes and that nothing is guaranteed:P, but if she's right.... :headbang:
I only plan on having snakes that I (and my better half) enjoy handling. By the same token, who's to say that some of these pairs won't produce some incredible patterns:O. It's a great family hobby for us and if it turns out to be something else then so be it.

Oh I think a few of us have discussed future trade ideas and haven't yet produced our first egg LOL. Dreamers we may be but that's okay, without dreams life is pretty boring isn't it!

According to what's on his own "About Us" link on his site, Greg Graziani traded his butt off to get so large. He's got his own line of Pastels, and does a lot of pastel crosses.. as well as many other high end morphs. I'm sure he makes plenty of money now, and buys plenty of things now that he's....how should we say... well started? But, hey.... nothin wrong with gettin big with trading! :)
