    Well that's good to hear that you've figured it out. I know when my kids use those markers, and I have to clean the marks off the table, they turn a nice green before disappearing. Plus those are nontoxic, so hopefully you should be fine. I would consider replacing that hide though anyway.

    Ah okay those markers. Since they are intended for use by children and are considered non-toxic then please ignore my previous warnings. Being that they are water washable though you may find that problem recurring what with higher humidity + cardboard + water soluble markers.

    Yeah I am just gonna re-do the cardboard and not color it! I went from way excited when I saw his shed to freaked as i thought he had gangreen or somthing!! you can see in one of the pics where the moisture turned the black green.
    I thought the card board was a good idea as the hides were kinda too big for him or had the opening in the back leaving him insecure, now he can grow in to them and the cardboard can just be removed and my $20 rock is still usefull!
