Aren't Ben's girls great!? My girlfriend got bit by Jake the first day we had him, my girlfriend's 3 yr old got bit by our het hypo girl, but I've never been struck at once... until I got my 10 girls from Ben. Got tagged 4 times trying to get her into her tub the day I opened her. :) Haven't been struck at since... so maybe I'm making them feel nice and secure... but they sure are quick to try and slither away when I go into their tubs to grab 'em! :) Still haven't gotten any real good photo ops yet with any of them since day 1. :) They're still so small though, they'll settle with age.....I hope. ;)

There are only really 3 out of the 7 that really like to strike.....Katie's favorite likes to strike at me and she thinks it is funny (the one in the picture)....that girl is also a killer eater...I fed her tonight and I have never had a ball python hit a mouse so hard...she has her head at the entrance of the hide 24/7 ready to nail whatever comes infront of it too...I don't mind getting tagged every now and then if she keeps that kinda appetite ;) I offered some live small adult mice tonight....3 of the 7 took the mouse in a matter of seconds....I am watching the others now...in about 5 min if they dont take it the mice are getting the ax and are going to be left overnight.....how are your girls feeding?

I had a refusal from a girl in shed, otherwise, they're all poundin adult mice with vigor! The one that "went hungry" has shed now, and I expect she'll be just fine this week. I was kinda quick to jump to calling it a refusal though... She struck at it twice, but the mouse was so freaked out, and was trying to jump out of the cage... I just got kinda worried about her... so after the second strike... I could tell she just couldn't see at ALL, and she looked a little sketchy about eating... so... sketchy mouse.. sketchy snake.. no food for her! lol. I gave it to another one that had already had one, and she took it fine... My girls were 124 (small) and 208 (large) when I got them on the 6th of this month... now they're 152 (small) and 252 (large) after two meals with me.. :)
