I thought it was weird that they said they hand feed them and that keeps them "tame"....

I thought that was weird too... generally when I feed my bp I just throw a warm rat in there and she swallows it at her leisure, without even constricting it. But then there have been a few times when she was hungry enough to strike the plexi-glass front of her cage several times because she smelled food... she's never bitten anybody and is as laid-back as can be, but you can never be too careful!
