Now where's the fun in that? :P

Share your opinions, help when you can, disagree when you need to, agree when you feel like it, and in the end it will all even out! ;)

Should note briefly here that folks can't spamslap bad rep points wantonly or anything. There are limits to how many (either + or -) can be given based on a period of time, relative points etc etc etc. It's far from a perfect system and certainly not carved in stone but it is a drastic improvement over basing things on postcounts and the kind of posting behavior that can encourage.

I've really got to get some better bells'n'whistles :P

:) I like the way you put that! That is a good point Adam!

    .................................

I've also noticed that I only have 9 points???
Do I loose a point everytime I get bad feedback???
and If I do...What happens when I run out of points... ??????

But I dont think I'll loose 9 points anytime soon! :)

It depends on what someone gives you, you can be given good point/feedback or bad. When you run out of points I think you are under moderation or something like that..... we have yet to have it happen, and seeing as though I am still learning this software, I cant tell you for sure.

I believe everyone starts off with 10 points. When you see something you believe to be helpful and insightful, feel free to give reputation. It will ask you for your comments, but if you have already given to that person too recently - you'll get the message 'You need to spread reputation around before giving to them again'. Same for negative rep point.
