    Thank you very much, everyone, for your kind words - I'm really lucky to have found such a caring set of people on this forum :)


    I shall go along with my questions and find out what I can and what is the best thing to do.

    She seems relatively bright at the moment - active as far as adult snakes can be. She's still strong and wriggles about a lot, tongue flicking, etc. She wouldn't eat her small mouse I gave her last night :( but I guess that's really only to be expected since she recovering from an op and is getting daily oral antibiotics fed into her. She drinks OK.
