    Wrapped around the water bowl with their head in the air could be a sign of a respiratory infection.

    It's not a popular answer, but if you have concerns about the health of your animal, the responsible thing to do is to take it to a qualified veterinarian. Message boards are good for gathering information, but in the end, no one can judge the health of a snake over the internet just by reading about possible symptoms or looking at pictures.

    Take him/her to a vet and be sure.

    Took her to a Reptile vet today. He didnt even charge me anything to look her over. He said he could see my worry about gazing but said that she was okay and was in perfect health, other than the mites which I'll be curing tonight with boiling water and Provent-A-Mite.

    Thanks to all who responded and to Adam who has helped me with 2 phone calls so far.
