Helix's not working? Are you kidding me? I'm running a dozen in my shop, 1/2 of which are probably between 5 and 10 years old and I've never had a problem with one of them. Over at Ralph Davis' place he's got to be running like 40 or 50 of them easy and he just keeps buying more. Why do you think that is? Because they don't know about Herpstat yet? ... LOL ... doubt it.

You know I know where you're coming from Matt because we've had this conversation before. It sucks to be the guy that has to sell Helix's ... they make it very hard for their resellers to make the money that they can make on other units. I mean, I can get raw Ranco controls for $35 at my local electric supply house and sell them the next day for $70 ... Helix's best price is $98 for a retail price of $129.99 .... With a 100% profit on a Ranco and a 30% profit on a Helix, if I was selling thermostats, I would say that Helix's stink too! Think about that ... if you spend $1000 on Ranco's and sell them the next day, you make $1000 pure profit ... spend $1000 on helix units and sell them the next day and you make $300 of profit ... LOL.

But hey, I'm just sharing information ... I'm not selling anything ... I still have the Ranco and Johnson in my supply closet, so if anyone would like to come down and see the experiment for themselves I'd be happy to show the same thing happen again.

Should I go through my old emails and post up what you really had to say about Helix controls Matt? The thing that you said you'd deny if it got out? ... LOL

I am not trying to sell anything first and formost.. It has nothing to do with profit, selling or any type of numbers.. It has to do with the sheer fact that I had lots of returns on the helix units..They simply did not work right out of the box. I sold alot more Helix units then I did any other unit, why because of the name recognation, thats it and the act that I sold them for 115:) So the profit equals out in the end with the numbers of units sold, same thing.. I dont give a rats hind end how many you have how man she has or how many the dog has, just dont care.. Pretty much dont care what you have to say at all. You can buy whatever you want(goes back to me not caring) and I will continue to sell what is worth the money.. BTW the Herpstat markup is way less than a Helix.. Post away on the emails man, Helix used to be a good comany until they were outsourced, now there are problems.. I have seen it many times.. I hate it as I liked selling the Helix units.. Why do you alwyas think of money when someone disagrees with you? The markup on what I now recommend(the herpstats) is less then the product I STOPPED carrying(the helix) because I felt it to be inferior.. But your right since YOU use them then they must be right, LOL.. Come on now.. Remember that "Holier than tho" commient I said to you.. Yeah I have my emails to my man... I have a thermostat emergency!! I spent all day Sunday setting up the new flexwatt I got from you, only to find out that the Helix I got is worthless...it's basically a $130.00 thermometer! It won't adjust the temps. I'm trying to get it replaced, but I'm now in a SERIOUS bind. I need a thermostat yesterday (has anyone invented a time machine yet?).

I would like to get a Herpstat next day air (so I get it sometime on Tuesday) to my work. I might not have done all that well in business school, but how does a 100% profit margin on Rancos and Johnsons "equal out" to a 30% profit margin on Helix? I must have missed that course?

Yes sir I am a Christian and do everything in a Christian way... Note in the other post about calling someone out on what you beleive they are doing wrong.. That would be it..
