Re: what time does your bp prowl around their viv?
Isis comes out on her own usually around 7pm or so. However, she is always apt to stay out and explore her tree when she is done being handled which is at all times throughout the day.

my snakes do that too. espescially vanessa... for couple weeks she'll be coming out and then all of a sudden she'll stop and wont come out at all for sometimes up to a month!

Apparently, Kashmire's favorite time lately is mid-morning. I say apparently, because Karl's mother spent last week with us and would call me in the mornings at work and say "Robin!!! Kashmire's putting on a show for me! Are you SURE he can't get out??????"

Karl is so bad too, he didn't even tell her the first few days that there was a snake in the tank (I was in NC at the time) and she was sleeping in the same room with him. You should have seen her face when she realized who her "room-mate" was! teehee!!!!

Unless they're in shed, or have just eaten, the bp's are usually visible by 6:30.

Vash occasionally decides to sleep underneath her big branch, or between the hide and wall, so then she's always visible.

If she's getting hungry, she's out prowling around looking for food a lot earlier (and climbing up the thermostat cord and trying to get out of the tank).

today dexter actually came out of his hide... he was watching my friend intently and then he went back into his hide (on the cool side) and then a few moments later he slowly made his way to his warm hide.

it was soooooooo nice to see him!
