LoL, yep, Ruari is a biggun'. He's coming home in the spring when it warms up a bit in Michigan(even though it is 85 down here in Texas, LoL). I can't wait to have him here.

I'm positive he's having a blast at Camp H&S. His bunny husbandry skills are still lacking obviously, but his athletic ability is blossoming :) I will be finding him a "cat" tree to climb on when he gets down here. Should have fun with that!

Well thats comforting !! i was hoping it would last her awhile. I will most likely save up and buy a larger cage for her once she hits 5 feet.

Not that the RT's one isn't nice and all, but the whole "money" thing... LoL. I have two of those huge tubs now and am going to use one to house Ruari, who is currently around 6'5". The other... Hmm :)

At the time, I couldn't find the christmas tree tubs anywhere :P (This was several months ago). My tub has a clear lid though. I also picked up a bunch of other stuff when I ordered, so it worked out okay.

Yep, mine has a clear lid as well(the one from RTubs). I am really glad to have found those at my WalMart... Maybe I can build a rack with a few when Wally World gets some more in. I don't mind the green lids on them, I think they look festive :) And you know... $30 less is a good thing too.

I was really impressed with ReptileTub's packing. I could probably sleep in the box it came in.

I bought three of those tubs......but Katie actually put Christmas decorations in two of them ;).....the other one is going to be modified to house my beardies when they get a bit bigger.

it's not the price of an enclosure it's just that im not wanting to get a boa that takes rabbits now. That is all

It just depends on the boa and genetics. There's always the chance you could end up with an 8ft male and a 6ft female. Ruari will probably end up being around 7ft or so when he finally slows down, as he's only 2 years old now. He eats rabbits(and the occassional jumbo rat) as they are easier to find locally(for me and Jo) and are cheaper. On 1.5lb 4 week old rabbits, Ruari eats every two weeks. They seem to do him just fine and keep him satisfied for the entire two weeks from what I'm told.

I plan on keeping him in that big tub until I can find a nice display case or make a nice melamine enclosure(maybe buy a Boaphile- who knows). But for the time being, he will be in the big tub and should be pretty comfortable when I get him. More space Ruari! He's in a 40g breeder right now that he came with when Jo rescued him.
