i love the end of her tail poking out in that last shot LOL

i have a question... is it safe to put leaves from outside into their enclosure or do you have to worry about bugs and stuff? (since we boil or bake driftwood or rocks before adding them to the viv)

Hrm, I've thought about that and looked around here for some answers. Didnt find much.. I haven't seen any bugs in her tank or on her and it's temporary while I'm home. She has a much bigger cage with jungle bedding stuff at school.

No such thing as too many pictures! I know when Gomez gets here, after he's settled in, *many* pics will ensue. It's good to be trigger happy with a camera ;)

I would think you have a good chance of brining in some unwanted creepy crawlies. Have you tried baking the leaves? At the lowest temperature for 30 minutes or so, on a cookie sheet? I would keep a very close eye to make sure it's not a fire hazard. You could always use crumpled up newspaper, and that way you wouldn't have to worry about any bugs. You never know what eggs or bugs are on the leaves just waiting for it to warm up, but of course that's just my opinion. ;)

i wonder though... if baking won't make them even crisper and kinda fall apart?
