Oh no sorry for the confusion. It was a fedex shipping center. Was supposed to be overnighted and received by 10:30 am guaranteed. They had a hold up at a different shipping center (apparently it happens a lot according to the fedex guy I talked to.)
I received him over a week ago.

This makes a lot of sense. I assume their muscles aren’t well developed either at that age. I was just so sure he had died in the moment.

:O Oh, that would have been awful! And just so you know, every once in a while someone's snake will even sleep in a weird position- like upside down- & cause a panic- it's not "normal" either (unless gravid) & bears watching, but usually a false alarm. Snakes have their quirks too. ;) Hoping your little buddy is just fine & was tired & confused.
