doras like a year and 10 months ans she hasnt been eating for a few months. She had the enclosure change and has been having some issues with heat but i got that fixed. Peely is my new guy, and is eating great. Yea, i did dilute the betadine 1-10 parts water and just put the jelly on the injuries. Other than that they are doing fine..and yea i get about not being dumb. wrong word.. for the neosporin, yea i knew to avoid that. I would like to ask how often to soak/apply betadine to him?

It's hard to say without seeing the actual injury- can you post pics? Depending on how bad your snake is injured, it might need a vet's help- maybe even stitches- but if it's only a minor wound, I'd want to apply* the diluted Betadine multiple times every day while it's healing, and keep the snake on clean paper towels only, since putting a bandage on a snake isn't an option. You want to avoid an infection.

*Dab the solution only on the injury, don't soak the whole snake, & I would try to do this with the snake still in his home, as calm as possible, so you aren't stressing his skin further by handling. He needs to heal & it will take time.

Yes, at least when you get home & again before bed.

And I'd also remove anything that he can climb on- just leave his hides & water bowl in for now. Same idea as not handling- you don't want him to stretch his skin by climbing around while it's trying to heal together. I hope he'll stay calm for you.
