    If you re-read the story about the "exploding" snake youll see that the reason the snake died is because the alligator wasnt dead when it was swallowed. The gator then ripped the snake apart from the inside with its claws.

    So unless you are feeding your BP gators/crocs/caimans or pipe bombs, it isnt going to "explode"

    Poor snake :sniff: Thanks Bryan, I didn't *really* think he'd explode, I just get a little carried away with worrying. Thank you all so very much for your wealth of informaion AND your willingness to share it. I don't know what I would have done in the past month without this place.


    I'll stick with two mice since he's doing well on that once a week. I was just thinking of the future too, don't want to have to deal with a finiky python that doesn't want rats when he's full grown.
