    Sorry, I'm not one that posts pics. Mine isn't a typical spotted python anyway- she's a granite phase.

    If you read more threads here, you'll notice how often ppl want tips to get their BPs to eat. Many eat pretty well when young, but once mature, they get fussy about it.

    I've heard that too, that Antaresia can be nippy. That's rather true of most "baby" snakes- if they don't instinctively defend themselves in the wild, they get eaten. Mine has never been nippy, so that's a good question for the others here too, that keep them. I don't recall others complaining about that, but ask. They're so tiny, it's not a big deal- all snakes I've raised have learned pretty fast that they don't have to defend themselves from me- so for me, that's not a deal-breaker. But I would say that young BPs are less likely to bite- they're fairly passive snakes, but that can also apply to their appetite. Pros & cons...;) I'd rather have a snake that bites & eats, lol. Because I know I can charm them out of biting, but if they don't eat, their health can suffer.
