Derek (dr del): Tribute to an Amazing Person

Very sad loss for this community. Wishing the best to Derek's family and friends in this difficult time.

I lost my father on thanksgiving many years ago and it doesn't make for an easy holiday either now or in the future.

I remember plenty of his informative and witty posts.

I just lost a very close friend named Derek on November 16.

It makes this an even more sad month.

Oh, I am sad to hear this. I always looked for his posts even when I was lurking here and hadn't yet joined. He certainly left a wonderful legacy of being kind, funny, and helpful to so many. Blessings to him and his loved ones.

Definitely was one of the best on the forum. Sorry to hear he's gone.
I remember when I first started posting here how helpful or thoughtful some of his posts were.

I'm new here and unfortunately never got to know him, but I'm sorry to hear this. He left a great legacy and has been very helpful, I always enjoyed reading his posts.

He will be missed for sure. Great person.

Man, what a loss. Dr. Del had many insightful contributions to this forum and was a wonderful guy.

He did give me my first and only infraction back when I first started out on this forum.
