    Do be careful about doing that- you run the risk that sooner or later, you'll find your snake may drop the prey & then refuse to eat it.

    Sometimes they do if prey isn’t warm enough I’ve had them strike at there heat lamps by mistake before. Sometimes it’s just derping.

    My albino female never sits in her hide she lays on top I’ve tried bigger I’ve tried smaller I’ve tried bigger enclosures nope she just hardly ever uses any of her hides. So I gave up let’s me enjoy looking at her. 4 year old never had issues perfect sheds always eats.

    She just does what she wants. Only one I’ve ever had act like this
