    Whats everyone's fav ball python?
Couldn’t choose between Albinos or Hi White Pieds

    Thankfully I’ve got both :)

Lavender albinos and pieds, these 2 are probably my favourite at the moment, but my hurricane is a stunner too [emoji2371][emoji2357]https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...3d5e81a9c0.jpg

As far as I understand, JD is still working on figuring it out. I haven't heard an official update that he couldn't replicate it. He has had others in his collection with the same what he calls "Dirty", where they start off clean looking but over time they develop darkening, much like a cow retic, or spots on CG/banana to a lesser extent. We know SK Axanthic is part of the equation, but other than that we do not have a definitive answer on anything. I don't think he has even managed to prove out "Dirty" as a morph, which is understandable since you can't even see it at first.

Visually, I love the spider gene and what it does in combinations. I originally wanted one with high white on the sides and would have chosen that as my favorite. But I couldn't get behind supporting a gene that produces animals with a neurological disorder.

Hmm. I'll be interested in following his progress. It looks like an interesting gene.

I absolutely agree with you about the spider gene.

But if I had to pick a favorite, I would go for an ultramel, coral glow, axanthic, and any pied.

Not into balls, but if I ever got one, it'd have to be a high-white pied.
