    Those "half logs" don't really qualify as hides- they're too "open" & offer NO sense of security from predators etc. Nice "cage furniture" is all they're good for. And if the other one is too big, that's why he's shunning them both. :rolleyes:

    You want the style hides with a fairly low ceiling, & only one doorway that's not overly-large. Many brands, sold many places, but get suitable hides! At least 2 equal ones, one for cool side & one for warm side. ;) He's been trying to tell you this as best he can. :snake:

    I have some hides like those above. I still usually put moss in them. Just makes any hide that much better, IMHO.

    I agree with swapping out your current hides. I use Reptile Basic hides for all my snakes. Some use them more than others.
